31 day reset day 10 DO ONE THING

This post is Day 10 of the 31 Days to Reset Your Life Challenge for 2011. Learn more and sign up for the program here.

After creating a life map yesterday, now it’s time to take some action on those goals! It’s nice to take time to be dreamy and in your head (and we will do even more of that in the upcoming days of the challenge), but for you to really get reconnected to your dreams, you will need to start putting some real stuff out there in the universe. Like right now.

Today, you will do one thing to move yourself closer to your ideal life. We will be embarking on some more in-depth action planning later this month, but today’s exercise is meant to begin building some initial momentum for your journey.

Estimated Time to Complete: Varies

Today’s exercise is NOT related to your everyday to-do list. You are being asked to complete one task that is personally significant to you and your ideal life. This task should help you get started on a specific goal you’ve identified during the challenge, either from your life map or your personal mission statement. Your “one thing” should meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Something you’ve been procrastinating on
  • Something that terrifies you
  • Something that inspires you

The main requirement for this exercise is that the action you take must be tangible and measurable. Basically, if I were there with you looking over your shoulder, I would be able to see clearly with my own eyes that the task was completed.

Some examples to jog your imagination:

  • You want to have better relationships with your family. Call that aunt you haven’t spoken to for three years. Buy a plane ticket to visit your brother.
  • You want to go back to school. Research some programs online and call or email to request information packets from the ones you like the best.
  • You want to own your own home. Sign up for a homeownership class or buy a book about how to begin the process.
  • You want to be healthier. Throw out all the junk food from your cabinets. Then go grocery shopping today and only buy healthy foods. Or sign up for a gym membership.
  • You want to save money. Open up a savings account. You can do that online now with most banks from your computer or phone. Then set up a recurring direct deposit from your checking account.
  • You want to improve your credit. Obtain your current credit report. If you haven’t done it yet this year, you can get one free here.
  • You want to start your own business. Complete the necessary forms and register your business name with your state.
  • You want to find a romantic partner. Approach someone you like or find attractive and ask for their phone number. Or sign up for an online dating service.

The possibilities are endless! Whatever you do, make the task specific and only focus on that one thing for today. I know you’re busy. But no matter how busy you are, you can always do at least one thing every day to move yourself closer to living the life of your dreams. And really, isn’t life too short not to?

Take Action and Reflect: When you’re done, tell us about what you did in the comments! Also let us know if any immediate results have occurred, either with an outcome or simply a change in your frame of mind.  How did completing this exercise make you feel? If you blogged about today’s assignment, please post the link in the comments so we can read it!

OK  my thing I actually started doing before I go to this post.  Today I started reviewing the information needed to obtain a Microsoft Office Specialist certification.

mos certification

I would like to go for the Master certification.

I have obtain quite a collection of books to learn excel, word, access, powerpoint and sharepoint so I am certainly on my journey.

31 day reset day 9 Create a life map

This post is Day 9 of the 31 Days to Reset Your Life Challenge for 2011. Learn more and sign up for the program here.

Over the past few days, you’ve reflected about the current state of your life through assessing your values and actions. Now, you’ll get a chance to begin to go in-depth about your goals for each of the seven areas of your life identified in Day 2′s life assessment exercise. Today, you will create a life map.

A life map is essentially a visual/text representation of what your ideal life looks like. It’s really and truly one of the most powerful personal development tools for both envisioning and creating a “map” for the path to your own happiness.

Last year, I made a video about how to create a life map and how the process actually led my mom to start her own “side hustle” three years ago, which has since blossomed into a profitable, full-time fitness consulting business. This is powerful stuff!

Keep in mind that your life map should be in accordance with your values and your personal mission statement. The idea is that now that you’ve got a sense of where your life is, you can begin to think more clearly about where exactly you want it to go. Ready?

Estimated Time to Complete: 60-90 minutes

Please download the Life Mapping Workbook to assist you in creating your life map. It’s a 13-page easy-to-use PDF guide to creating your own life map with colorful worksheets like the one you see above. You will want to print it out and follow the instructions inside.

Download the Life Mapping Workbook

Just to give you an idea of the end point, here’s my completed life map in a visual.

Take Action and Reflect: When you’re done, please share your life map with us in the comments! Feel free to post it in either text or picture form or both. Were there any “aha” moments you experienced as you completed this exercise? If you blogged about today’s assignment, please post the link in the comments so we can read it!

31 day reset day 8 keep a gratitude Journal

This post is Day 8 of the 31 Days to Reset Your Life Challenge for 2011. Learn more and sign up for the program here.

“There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle or you can live as if everything is a miracle.” – Albert Einstein

Over the course of this month, you will be manifesting new habits and wonderful outcomes for your life. Sometimes though, we have to learn how to be grateful for what we have before the universe will give us more.

Today, you will keep a gratitude journal. Studies have shown that cultivating a sense of thankfulness in your everyday life is good for your mental health and emotional well-being. In fat, UC Davis psychologist Robert Emmons has demonstrated such in his research:

The evidence that cultivating gratefulness is good for you is overwhelming. Gratitude is a quality that we should aspire to as a part and parcel of personal growth…Specifically, we have shown that gratitude is positively related to such critical outcomes as life satisfaction, vitality, happiness, self-esteem, optimism, hope, empathy, and willingness to provide emotional and tangible support for other people, whereas being ungrateful is related to anxiety, depression, envy, materialism, and loneliness.

Indeed, in times like these, we need more gratitude. More optimism. Not more stuff to be happy about, just simply more expressions of being grateful for what we already have or experiences we’ve had in the past.

Estimated Time to Complete: 30 minutes

Today’s exercise requires you to be very conscious and mindful of the blessings – big and small – that surround you. Throughout the day, write down everything that you’re grateful for. Your list should contain at least FIVE items. It may be helpful to ask yourself the following questions over the course of your day as “gratitude prompts”:

  • What am I thankful for in this moment?
  • What’s working for my good right now?
  • Today, I’m grateful for . . .

You may answer with things, people, emotions, circumstances, et. It’s up to you to take stock of whatever the universe is providing for you.

Take Action and Reflect: When you’re done, please share your gratitude journal with us in the comments! What were the five things you were most thankful for today? Start your comment off with “Today, I am grateful for . . .” If you blogged about today’s assignment, please post the link in the comments so we can read it!

31 day reset day 7 Rest Reflect Commit

This post is Day 7 of the 31 Days to Reset Your Life Challenge for 2011. Learn more and sign up for the program here.

Congratulations! You’ve made it through the first week of the 31 Days to Reset Your Life Challenge. In case you missed it, I posted a handy Guide to Getting the Most Out of Your #31DayReset to ensure you are maximizing this experience. For most participants, it has been a productive and enlightening week. For others, it may have been a bit more difficult to keep up with the daily assignments. That’s why today is dedicated to giving you time to catch up and reflect on the past week’s exercises as well as to connect with others in the challenge.

Estimated Time to Complete: 30 minutes

Today’s exercise is an opportunity for you to rest from all your inner work this week as well as reflect on your learning and share in your fellow participants’ progress over the past few days. Being able to compare and contrast your experiences and offer encouragement to others can be extremely useful as you move forward in your personal development journey! If you missed any of the assignments this week, this is also your chance to catch up.

  • What was the most important thing you learned about yourself this week?
  • What has been your favorite exercise so far? What did you like about it?
  • Which exercise did you struggle with the most and why?

1 most important thing learned  - while I have growth….I still have a ways to go……

2  favorite exercise????  none  Smile

3  the hardest exercise was the mission statement… putting in to words the things I value was hard for me to explain

31 day reset day 6 write a personal mission statement

Over the past few days, you’ve taken two important steps toward developing a personal mission statement: identifying your values and envisioning your values in action. For most people, it is truly an eye-opening process to write out your values for your life and then compare them to how you actually balance your priorities. Today, you will put the exercises from Day 4 and Day 5 together to complete your personal mission statement. But what, exactly, is a personal mission statement, anyway?

Personal development website Dumb Little Man offers this great definition:

Your personal mission statement should be a concise representation of what’s most important to you, what you desire to focus on, what you want to achieve, and, ultimately, who you want to become. In its purest form, it’s an approach to your life, one that allows you to identify a focus of energy, creativity, and vision in living a life in support of your inner-most beliefs and values. Also remember that your mission will change over time as you and your life change.

I developed a personal mission statement a few years ago and it literally changed my life. Since then, I have trained over 200 people in my personal development workshops to develop their own personal mission statements and it is often a life-changing process for them. There’s something really powerful and empowering about being able to say YES or NO to opportunities that come into your life based on whether it fits within your personal mission and how you want to live out your values.

Estimated Time to Complete: 30-60 minutes

There are many ways to go about creating your own personal mission statement, but I will highlight my three-step formula that I use in my workshops here.

Values + Values in Action = Personal Mission Statement

Now that you’ve identified your values and what your values look like in action, you should now take at least 30 minutes to begin drafting your personal mission statement. You should take as much time as you need to reflect and write out your mission statement. It can be short-term or long-term, and should encompass your values and how you’d like to express them in your life. You don’t have to use ALL the values in your Reset 10 if you don’t want to. It may serve you best to only include your top three or you could include all 20 of the ones you came up with during your brainstorm. It’s up to you to decide what would be most useful.

The statement itself can be as short or as long as you think it needs to be, but the process and the final statement should serve to help you make different kinds of decisions about how you will live your life from now on. And remember, it will continue to change as YOU change over time, so don’t worry about it being perfect and final. This should be a work in progress, just like you!

As an example (please don’t feel like you have to do yours this way), here is what my updated personal mission statement looks like:

I value learning, independence, travel, creativity, achievement, and social change. I deeply appreciate laughter, good food, music and poetry in my life. I especially value authenticity and love in myself and others. Before I die, I want to have made a positive impact on the world for young people, women, and people of color. As a writer, speaker and coach, I will use my one life to affect many lives by helping people realize their goals and dreams. In my work and life, I will always tell my truth and make space for others to tell theirs. In my journey to empower others, I will not neglect my own family, friends, finances, health, or spirituality. I will remember that love is the only religion and that forgiveness is the highest form of love. And that fear means GO. I will remember that failure is only failure if you don’t learn anything and that nothing is ever so bad that you can’t get up and dance when the music comes on. And I will always, always choose love over fear.

Take Action and Reflect: When you’re done, please share your personal mission statement with us in the comments! How did you feel as you were writing it? If you blogged about today’s assignment, please post the link in the comments so we can read it

And away we go

I value family, friends, love, helping others, self, honesty, growth, travel, communication, and anything that does not look like depression. I ill strive in my life to show with visible signs what I value. With friends, family, and self – I will find new ways to improve relationships and release and forgive old hurts.  I will find new ways to help others and improve on what I am currently doing. I will no longer run from honesty. I will attempt to always provide it to myself and to others.  My personal growth will continue – stagnation no longer lives in my house.  Using effective communication, I will achieve all the above goals.  Then I will travel to celebrate my success.

day 6 is done dude.

31 day reset day 3 again write a love letter to your future self

Yesterday, you took an honest assessment of your life. You probably had many “likes” to be grateful for, but also some “dislikes” that may have left you feeling a bit discouraged at this stage of the challenge. Today, you will be able to put those “dislikes” into perspective by writing a love letter. No, not to your romantic partner . . . to yourself. We all know that setting goals for yourself and writing them down is a great way to make sure you stay on track with living your ideal life, but what happens when you don’t have anyone to hold you accountable?

Estimated Time to Complete: 60 minutes

This two-part exercise requires you to write a love letter to your future self and then email it to yourself exactly 30 days from now. Your future self is the person you hope to grow into as your personal development journey unfolds. She is the “you” who has more “likes” than “dislikes” in each of the seven specific areas of her life.

Write yourself an inspiring letter about how your life will be improved in the future. The idea is that instead of just having “likes,” there will be “loves” in their place. If you want, you may use the outline below for your letter or just freestyle your own!

Dear future Synita,

Congratulations on all the progress you’ve made so far! You now have even more to be grateful for in each area of your life, including the following:

  • Lifestyle: You love  that you are able to get out more and spend less time just sitting at home. Whether hanging with friends or just going out to dinner.
  • Work: You love that new job you started.  It may not pay what you wanted but its still exactly what you need at this time in your life.
  • Education: You love that you have narrowed down the choices on which CED certifications to take.
  • Finances: You love that you are staying on budget and able to pay your bills and save for the future without struggling.
  • Health: You love that you have  started taking your daily prescription and also other natural remedies.
  • Family: You love your family and plan to spend more time with them.
  • Relationships: You love that you are able to more effectively communicate with everyone.

Your life is so much better now and it’s all because of your hard work.  Keep it up!

[Synita]

Next, you will copy and paste your letter into futureme.org, a site that allows you to write yourself a letter that’s emailed to you at some point at least 30 days into the future. You can make your letters private or public, but anonymous. It’s you being your own cheerleader and holding yourself accountable, with the help of a little magic technology!

After you post your letter, make sure you set it to be sent to you exactly 30 days from now. It’s a powerful exercise, and I challenge you to try it out for yourself and see if it helps you stay encouraged as you make progress on living your ideal life.

Want some more inspiration? Here’s a great example of a love letter that Jamie, a HBW reader wrote to herself last year.

Take Action and Reflect: When you’re done, please share your love letter with us in the comments! Also be sure to post it on the futureme.org site to be sent to yourself exactly 30 days from now as a reminder to check in on your progress after the challenge. If you blogged about today’s assignment, please post the link in the comments so we can read it!

31 day reset day 5 envision your values in action

Yesterday, you identified your values and narrowed them down to a list of 10 of the most important ones. Today, we’re going to take that exercise a step further by completing the second task in developing a personal mission statement over the next few days: envisioning your values in action.
We all know that actions speak louder than words. It’s one thing to say what you care about, but much harder to walk your talk. Today’s exercise involves two parts to help you dig deeper in thinking about how you can incorporate your values into your daily life.
Estimated Time to Complete: 60-90 minutes

Now that you’re clear on what you really care about, you want to compare your values to how you’re currently living your life. For each value that you identified in your “Reset 10″, rate yourself from 1-10 on how you feel you’re acting out that particular value in your life. Be honest with yourself – it’s the only way to be able to improve upon the life you’re living now to the life you want to be living in the future!

For each value that you identified in your “Reset 10″, list out at least three actions that you currently take or that you should be taking in order to honor and fulfill that value in your life. What kinds of things would you be doing if you were living in full accordance with your values? What would it really look like for you to be able to rate yourself as a “10″ on how you live out all your values?
Take Action and Reflect: When you’re done, please share your “values in action″ with us in the comments! Feel free to share Part 1 or 2 or both. Were there any “aha” moments you experienced as you completed this exercise? If you blogged about today’s assignment, please post the link in the comments so we can read it!

Previously this was Day 4 and I here were my original thoughts
My “Reset 10” Values ”
family 5.25
  • parents (mom 8, dad 0)  resolve old issues, forgive and forget, decide what relationship to have I would change this to give Dad a 2
  • siblings  8  initiate more contact, be more understanding, talk more this would stay the same
  • kids  5  figure out wtf is going on, be more open, try to be there  this is the same
friends 7 initiate more contact, I am more open and friendly, I hang out when I can  the same
love( finding it, accepting it, giving it)  5 this is the same
helping others 8  I do the support group, I'm always available, looking for more ways to help  not sure what more I can do but I believe there is room for improvement so ill leave it an 8
self(loving self) 6  just do it, working on just doing it, say it loud   maybe a 5 now
honesty(with myself and others) 6  stop being afraid to say what I think for fear of hurting folks,  admit to myself how I really think and feel, just do it   this may be down to a 4 now
growth(personal, emotional, educational) 6  I continue to try to improve, work on IT certs, keep working on me  still a 6
travel(cruising, going places I've never been) 7   thinking of places I want to go, planning next vacation/cruise, finding ways to do vacations on MY dime still the same
Communication 6   be more open,  say exactly what your heart is saying,  be more personable in person  probably down to a 4 now
anything that is the opposite of depression 6   recognize the signs, admit and deal with issues as they pop up and not let fester,  therapy   the same
ok day 4 complete….not sure how if I did this correctly.

ok so I guess things are basically the same as in January…. a few things have changed for the better and some gotten worse….. still a work in progress

and day 5 is complete…. yeah yeah yeah… im going back to day 3   lol

31 day reset day 4 again identify your values

Yesterday, you wrote a magical love letter to yourself in anticipation of all the good things to come. You may have enjoyed writing it and hopefully you’re feeling pretty optimistic about the future. Another thing you probably realized though, albeit subconsciously, is that you are not exactly living up to the values you have for your life (hence all the “dislikes”). Today’s two-part exercise will force you to address that disconnect by doing the first task in developing a personal mission statement over the next three days: identifying your values.
Estimated Time to Complete: 30-60 minutes
What matters most to you in life? The answer to this question is called your values. Often we find that we’ve forgotten about that which we care about because we allowed ourselves to get stuck doing something else, on someone else’s agenda.

Take at least 15 minutes to jot down a free-for-all list of all the things that means a lot to you in your life, all the things you care about. Feel free to take more time if you need it.
Just a few examples of values include:
  • Achievement, fame, advancement, leadership
  • Money, power, authority, economic security
  • Having a family, children, love, community, friendships
  • Nature, religion, public service, ecological awareness, healthy living, physical challenge
  • Democracy, civic involvement, wisdom, integrity, truth
  • Location, privacy, country, adventure, fast-paced living
Remember, these are just examples. There are many more you can – and should – think of on your own. Most people come up with at least a dozen values once they get going.

Once you identify all of your values – all the things you care about, choose your “Reset 10″ – a list of your TOP 10 values from your list. They don’t have to be in any particular order, though you may certainly rank them if you’d like.
Tomorrow, we will move on to the next step in the process of developing a personal mission statement: envisioning your values in action.
Take Action and Reflect: When you’re done, please share your “Reset 10″ values with us in the comments! How did you feel as you completed this exercise? If you blogged about today’s assignment, please post the link in the comments so we can read it!
Previously this was the day 3 assignment and I will repeat what I did before
My “Reset 10” Values are”
family
friends
love( finding it, accepting it, giving it)
helping others
self(loving self)
honesty(with myself and others)
growth(personal, emotional, educational)
travel(cruising, going places ive never been)
Communication
anything that is the opposite of depression
so there are my 10 reset values…………. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

and day is completed….yeah im going back to day 3

31 day reset day 2 again take an hones assessment of your life

Many of us have a love/hate relationship with the current state of our lives. There are some things that we enjoy and appreciate about our circumstances, but if we’re honest with ourselves, there are some things we want to change about them, too. But before you can get clear about where and how you might improve, you need to have a good sense of where you are right now. You need to take an honest assessment of your current reality.

The purpose of today’s two-part exercise is twofold:

  1. To force you to own up to exactly which areas you’d like to improve upon in your life.
  2. To give you encouragement to build on what’s already great about it.

Estimated Time to Complete: 60- 90 minutes

To complete this exercise, you will take an honest assessment of seven specific areas of your life:

  • Lifestyle (satisfaction with where you live/living environment, how you spend your leisure time these days)
  • Work (satisfaction with where you work right now, what you do to earn your living)
  • Education (satisfaction with your educational attainment to date – college, vocational school and other learning goals)
  • Finances (the current state of your budget/money management, salary, net worth, debt-to-income ratio)
  • Health (the current state of your mental, physical and spiritual health – mind, body, soul)
  • Family (the quality of your relationships with family members, siblings, children)
  • Relationships (the quality of your relationships with friends and romantic partners)

For each of these specific areas of your life, simply ask yourself two questions.

  1. What do I LIKE about this area of my life?
  2. What do I DISLIKE about it?

You can either write your responses in your Reset Notebook or print out the Life Assessment Worksheet below. Just print it out, write your answers and insert or paste into your Notebook.

Download the Life Assessment Worksheet (optional)

so here is the original day two posting

  • Lifestyle (satisfaction with where you live/living environment, how you spend your leisure time these days)
    • love  I like my current apt…. its mine and its not an extended stay hotel room.  I think I like how I spend my leisure time…its mostly spent at home in front of the tv and pc but that’s what I do. if I want to go out I do so I don’t think im missing much
    • hate I don’t really hate anything about my lifestyle…maybe if I had a car I could get out more but maybe not
    • I guess I feel the same way I did in January.  Maybe I wish I could hang out with my friends more, but that will come in time once I get a permanent job.
  • Work (satisfaction with where you work right now, what you do to earn your living)
    • love I have learned to enjoy working in accounts payables.  I have reached a point where when I do work I am earning what I feel I should be earning
    • hate of course I hate the fact that I don’t have a job right now.  it would be really good to find a permanent position but I am still hopeful.
    • still feel the same way about this….
  • Education(satisfaction with your educational attainment to date – college, vocational school and other learning goals)
    • love I am very happy that I was able to go back to school and complete my associates in business administration and my bachelors in information technology.
    • hate I hate that I did not correctly evaluate my decision to get an IT degree online… so now I have a degree and student loans yet I cant work in my field.  I still need to get my certifications and i am waffling on that.  I still want to do IT but right now my “its hard” theory is kicking in……I need to do better.
    • still feel the same way about this….. thinking of doing CED solutions to get certifications
    • completed 2 excel classes(level 1 and 2) and access level 2 at CED
  • Finances(the current state of your budget/money management, salary, net worth, debt-to-income ratio)
    • love what is there to love about being broke  lol…. I am happy that in the 2 yrs since I was laid off my last permanent job, I have not lost anything. im still in my apt… yes my student loans are past due but me and mine still have a roof over our heads that isnt an extended stay hotel…. im making it….. with Gods help and the help of friends and family….. im making it….
    • hate I surely hate not working and having the money to pay all my bills on time and on my own resources… I am appreciative of the help I receive but I do prefer to be “independent” and provide for myself. I am not happy that my debt to income ratio is off the scale in the wrong direction but I understand why and im dealing with it.
    • still feel the same
  • Health(the current state of your mental, physical and spiritual health – mind, body, soul)
    • love I am in a much better spot mentally than I have ever been.  im not vain or stupid enough to believe that I am totally done with depression but I can say that I have learned how to effectively deal with my depressive episodes. I am very grateful that recent events in my life did not send me into a major depression spell and that I am able to overcome and live a wonderful life despite those events.
    • hate I hate that because I am not working I do not have health insurance and so the health issues that I have…. I am learning to deal with until I can get to a doctor…. my spiritual health is also not what it used to be…. I don’t like it but im not ready to work on that yet.
    • things are still the same with this…..
  • Family(the quality of your relationships with family members, siblings,  children)
    • love at this time in my life… my relationships with my siblings and mom are the best they have been… I love them very much and of course my grand daughter is the joy of my life
    • hate I am not happy about the state of the my relationship with my kids….. I am hopeful(most of the time) that as time passes things will improve.  the relationship with my dad is still non existent but this will be the time for me to decide what, if anything, to do about that.
    • still feel the same with this
  • Relationships (the quality of your relationships with friends and romantic partners)
    • love I hate to say that my friendships at this moment in my life are a source of joy for me….. wait….ok this is better…. I still talk to friends from my home town in SC and I have friends that I still talk to that I met when I first got to ATL 12 yrs ago….. in the past 2.5 yrs ive added even more friends to my collection(LOL) and I have the most wonderful people in my life right now…. who could ask for anything more
    • hate I can say that I am not tremendously happy about my romantic situation at this time
    • the friendships have remained the same
    • the romantic partners has changed. I am currently in a relationship with a former partner. this certainly wasn’t expected but it is what it is

and day two is completed………………………..again   lol

Come on over here baby, uh
Put your a*s right down here on this throne, yeah
Don't you say n'ere a little word
Until you learn how to leave, leave that devil alone
Let me run it down, I keep your paper coming in real steady
I could tell you what the I in the pimp stands for
If your ready, ready, ready
Your eyes are wide shut you cannot even see
That behind your back, he calls you names
But you're still a queen to me

CHORUS:
In this trusting place you can erase
Every tear that ever rolled down your weary face
All the time you waste in that paper chase
Is time better spent in these arms of mine
Heaven sent angel so divine
You're my complement
U make my sun shine
U make my sun shine at night
(ooh ohh ohh, ohh ohh ohh ohh)

Listen to me now baby, ohh
Let me tell ya what I gotta do (tell ya)
I gotta stop lettin' them devils
(define what it takes to be a woman)
Stop lettin' him tell me what it takes to be a woman
Gotta never stop believing in me, myself, and I
Pretty little lies that the rich keep using
I opened up my eyes,
The only reason they're winning is 'cause I keep losing
Gotta get back to my rightful place
That's the subject of my song
Queen of the human race
This is where I belong

Chorus

Wonderfully, truly, caring you make the words I wish in every song.
Come here now pretty baby let me take you somewhere and put you real cloths back on
We've both been in the dark much too long
Now that we got the knowledge and the truth we can both be strong
Kings and Queens gettin' it on!

Trusted place you can erase
Every tear that ever rolled down your weary face
All the time you waste (wasted time)
In that paper chase
(Can't you see that it's all time better spent right here)
Is time better spent in these arms of mine,
(Sweet angel)
Heaven sent angel so divine (You're so divine)
You're my complement
U make my sun shine
U make my sun shine at night
Can U Feel me?
Sun shine, sun shine, sun shine at night
